Name Tags

I have made name tags for the reunion and I hope you will like them. All I will have to do is print them out and find the little plastic covers to put them in. And all you have to do is add your name.

ATTENTION!!!! New Date For Reunion!!

We have decided on a new date for the reunion. The building that we were going to use had already been booked for someone else. But it was open for Labor Day Weekend.

Our Story Begins

Grandpa and Grandma Winkles were married August 5, 1919 in Fayetteville, Lincoln County, Tennessee. Grandpa Winkles, born February 25, 1896 in Madison County, Alabama,  was the son of Elijah (Lige) and Leona (Dunn) Winkles. Grandma Winkles, born June 13, 1901 in Tracy City, Tennessee, was the daughter of Alton (Al) and Rachel Elizabeth (Bass) Hunter.
This picture was posted in the Huntsville Times as they celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Do any of you remember when they lived on Hoover St. in Huntsville?
Grandpa Winkles passed away September 12, 1971 and Grandma Winkles passed away April 9, 1997.
Both are truly missed.
